I have a Cobra 25LTD Classic. It keys up and shows transmit but no audio swing comes when you talk. Microphone is OK. BUT, there is what looks like a "final" about mid way into the board on the side.It seems to have a flat sorta heat sink next to it. It chip gets HOT;so much you can't leave yur finger on it but a second. I am sure there is someone that has fixed this problem b-4
