Ahhh... we have had winter here too. Not a ton of snow, but what we have we have had since the beginning of December. And January has been all below freezing (only the 4th time since 1912 that we have had no January thaw). I see that my old stomping grounds in WA had a -6 recorded last month.. and a couple of feet of snow... very unusual for the Puget Sound area .. the flooding afterwards wasn't suprising after that!
