So on Thursday night our current Gov here in the land of 10,000 media jackels snuck back to his St Paul mansion after lobbing "Not Ready to Lead" soundbites in Denver, with all the press expecting him to join John McCain in Dayton on Friday as Mr Veepster. The motorcade that dropped him off there shortly left there, with the Gov not to be seen, adding to the suspense that he was sneaking back out of town. Instead, Timmy called up WCCO radio Friday morning that he would be doing his 9am Friday radio show "as usual", and (paraphrasing) "you can read into that what you want". I was watching MSNBC, and they were wondering who was going to join Mac, reporting who wasn't going to be there. Then they reprted a small jet from Alaska just landed in Dayton ....
So Sarah Palin had to miss her State Fair, but Tim Pawlenty made it to his. Of course, he is hosting a little shingdig next week. I wonder what all those drunken Irish would think about all the elephant dung all over their twisted streets of St Paul they built?
