I transfer using Audacity, a nifty program that enables me to record any input to my computer (in this case I run a patch cord from my cassette player's headphone jack to the microphone jack on my computer).
Audacity is free, and it is easy to use, especially to sweeten and edit recordings. For example, the tape I have of my last Rainstoppers show was recorded by you, Sal, on a machine that was apparently low on batteries, because the show sounds speeded up on playback. With Audacity I can slow the recording down until it gets to life speed. That is, of course, only if I can find it.
