the brita filters cost a lot more and cant be reused. plus they have a different make up for filtering water not spirit. a good read on this is a book buy Gert Strand, "Ativated carbon for
purfication of alcohol" its a free download. I also thought of using a water filter as you have untill I read up on it.Chalie,has the right stuff!
