The amount in my carbon tower is at least 6 to 8 times the amount of carbon that is in one of these other filters. In order to do this you would have to pass your alcohol through at least that number of times in order to get the same amount of filtering taking place. This is up to you.
The second reason to use my carbon tower is that after you have filtered your alsohol through my carbon you can take the carbon, wash it in hot water and then spread it out on a large cookie tray and put it in an oven and bake it for 4 hours at 400F degrees and it will burn the enzimes that have attached themselves to it and you can use it many many times. The bretta filters you throw away. I can supply you with both.
Be sure and boil it in hot water. I tried it once by not boiling it and just about blew the oven door off. You can learn by my mistakes.
