Posted by Mo [David & Jessica with their stock associates, Kristen & Melissa] David: Ok, here's the deal: we need to open all these boxes, process the shipment, and while Angela and Jen are scanning everything, put all new merchandise as back stock so they can use the empty boxes. We need to have all this done by the end of the night. You think we can handle this, ladies? Melissa: Are we staying open to close? Jessica: We're gonna stay until it gets done. So since the new shipment hasn't gotten here yet, we need to gather all the empty boxes that we have back here, put all the hangers on bars, and bring back all the transfers. I think we can use the computer back here. And all the LRT guns are in the office. So are there any questions? Everyone: Nope. David: Ok, let's get to work. Your breaks are posted in the front. [They begin to work. They were able to empty 6 boxes full of hangers, waiting for the new shipment to get in] Angela [walking in the stock room]: Hey guys. Are you ok back here? Kristen: Fine. Angela: Ok, just wanted to check on you. The shipment will be here in a minute. I just got a call from UPS. And Jen's got an interview with an assistant manager. Oh...our new store manager should be here soon too. MV: I'm already here... Angela [turns around]: Hi... MV: Hi, you must be Angela. I'm Justin. I've heard so much about you. You're better lookin in person. Those pictures of you in Jen's office don't do you justice. Angela [blushing]: How sweet are you? It's nice to meet you, Justin. Justin [kisses her hand]: The pleasure's all mine. So I've clocked in. Shall we get started? Angela: Sure. I pulled all the merchandise last night that's getting transferred. All I need to do is get the boxes and start packing. Justin: Beautiful...[begins to walk out of the stock room but turns around] Oh, yeah. My bad. I didn't mean to be rude. I'm your new store manager, guys. [walks over to Kristen, Melissa, and Jessica to kiss their cheek. Then walked over to David & gave him a pound] I'm sorry. I know my mom taught me some manners. Sorry about that. David: It's cool man. [Justin & Angela walk back onto the floor] Jen: Hey guys. I'm so glad you two met. What do you think of each other? Justin: Ladies, first... Angela [feeling she was being put on the spot]: Um...ok...well, he has the look, definitely. He seems sweet. Justin: She's cool. I like the fact that she wants to be in charge. But at the same time, she knows when to back off. She seems very excited about her job. Jen: She is. Best assistant manager I've ever had [pauses] I want to give you guys something. Come with me into the office... [they all walk to the office in the stock room] Ok, before you walk in here, close your eyes... [they shut their eyes]. Now, since this is one of the bigger stores in the country, I was able to spend a bit of Corporate's money and purchase these... Angela [opens her eyes]: You got walkies?! How did you pull that off? Justin: Walkies with headsets. Nice, Jen. Jen: Well, I asked corporate to get some. They thought it was a good idea. So now we have 75 walkies. Motorola "Talk-Abouts" as a matter of fact. David: What's this I hear about walkies? Jen: Here. You can have one. Get a headset too...in fact, get one for you, Melissa, Kristen, and Jessica. David: Tight work [gets walkies & headsets]. These are nice, Jen. Jen: Yeah, I like them. And I went out and bought some alcohol pads to help keep them clean. Justin: You think of everything, don't you? Jen: I try to. Now let's pass these things out and get to work. [They walk out with the walkies and headsets, pass them out & went back to work] Angela: Justin, will you help me get the boxes so we can do these transfers? Justin: Yes, ma'am. Angela: Thank you. Um, guys, come here, please. [Ricky, Chad, Oscar, Michelle, & Niki walked over to Angela] Angela: Ok, here's your walkies. Pretty simple to operate. I don't think I need to explain all that, do I? Ricky: Nope. Angela: Ok, good. I'm leaving you all in charge of the floor. Oscar is your MOD. Carlos is coming in at 1PM. I think Blake, Drew, Derek, Tony, Lauren, Brooke, Danielle, Maria, Tia, Venessa, Eric, Mike, Kareem, John, and Jasmine come in at 2. And Jen has that interview with our assistant manager. So we have a lot to do here. Justin: If you guys need help, call any of us, aight? Everyone: Ok. Justin: Ok, let's get to work. [Back door bell rings] Justin: Shipment's here! Time to break a sweat! Is the back register in the office workin? Angela: Yeah, we actually have 3 new ones and 5 new LRT guns. So really, you & I can stay back here. Justin: Cool.
