[Kareem and Nicole in the apartment]
Kareem *sitting on the couch*: So what have you been doing so far this Spring Break?
Nicole *getting a bottle of water out of the fridge*: Not too much. You want something to drink? I have Kool Aid and I know how black folks are with Kool Aid.
Kareem: Fo sho, dawg! Hook it up! *gets up and walks into the kitchen to help her out*
*KNOCK KNOCK*
Kareem: That must be the pizza. *walks to the door and begins to pull out his wallet*
Nicole *notices he's about to pay for the food*: What are you doing?
Kareem: About to pay for the pizza. *opens the door*
Pizza Boy: Hi. That'll be $10.66.
Kareem: Here you go...*hands the pizza boy the money*
Nicole: Stop, Kareem. I got this. *walks to the door with the Kool Aid pitcher in her hand*. Hi Jared. I got you taken care of. *pulls out a $20 bill out of her back pocket*. Tell everyone I said hi.
Jared: Aight. I got you. Hey, by the way, have you seen that Escalade out in the parking lot?
Nicole: Oh, yeah. Nice isn't it?
Jared: That's sweet!
Nicole: It's mine...
Jared: Yeah? That's you? You rollin like that now?
Nicole: Yes, sir.
Jared: Damn, ma...
Nicole: Holla back! You know how I do.
Jared: You're gonna have to take me for a spin in that.
Nicole: No doubt. I got you taken care of.
Jared: Aight, well, I gotta get back to work. I'll see ya around.
Nicole: Bye Jared. *shuts the door*
Kareem: Why did you pay for that?
Nicole: Because I wanted to. I had it all under control.
Kareem: So did I. I had everything taken care of. You should have let me pay for it.
Nicole: Fine. I'll let you pay for something else later. Now let's stop arguing and let's eat.
Kareem: Aight.
[They sit down to eat and watched "Friday" {the original was better and all of y'all know it}
Kareem *rubbing his stomach*: That was good, Nicole. Thank you.
Nicole: You're welcome. *gets up and cleans up their things*
Kareem: Let me help you. *gets up off the couch and takes the plates and cups out of her hand*
Nicole: Help me with what? I got it, don't worry. You're the guest, remember?
Kareem: Yeah, but I feel like I should help you. *follows her to the kitchen and begins to wash the dishes*
Nicole: Ok, well, thank you, I guess.
Kareem: No problem. It's the least I can do. Now you just go sit down and watch the rest of the movie. I got you taken care of. *pushed her in the direction of the couch* Go sit down.
Nicole *laughing*: Ok, ok! I'm going!
[Kareem washes the dishes while Nicole lays on the couch, watching the rest of the movie. When he was finished, he sat back down on the couch with her]
Nicole: You finished?
Kareem: Yep. *notices her laying across the couch* Get up for a second. *she gets up and he sits down* Ok, you can sit down now.
Nicole *looks at him funny* Where the hell am I gonna sit? You took up the whole damn couch silly!
Kareem *gives her the dough eyes*: I'm sure there's enough room on this couch for the both of us. *pulls her down on top of him. She ended up in his lap and he started to tickle her*
Nicole: Oh no! Don't start! *laughing* Stop Kareem!
Kareem: Nope! This is for all those times that you got me! I don't think so!
[They continue to wrestle on the couch and laugh. Then after about 10 minutes into this “tickle war”, Kareem asked a question]
Kareem: So, you know about any parties or anything going on here?
Nicole: Well, a friend of mine from high school is having one at her house tonite.
Kareem: I’m there. You going?
Nicole *thinking to herself* Should I go to this thing? I mean, all of the x-men will be there…but at the same time, I could show up and flaunt him off like he’s mine…no! Don’t do that, Nicole! That’s wrong! I’d be using him and I wouldn’t want him to do that to me. Do the right thing.*outloud* Um, I’ve been thinking about it but I don’t know yet. Why, you want to go?
