~*~Ok, I got another character 2 put in place here. He will show up later on. But I thought that I should give him some props by postin him now that way we can all get familiar with him....
~Kareem Clayton: 21, friends with Nicole. He kinda looks like Joe [the singer]. The 2 of them met in school and hang out quite frequently. He's a sweetheart and has a girlfriend. But since he and Nicole have so much in common, it's only right that they be together, right?

John: You ok?
Nicole: I think so…*still laying on her back in the water*
John: Ima let you go now…
Nicole: NO!!! Don’t do that! You can’t let me go! I’ll sink!
John: Didn’t I say that I wouldn’t do that? Just calm down, Nicole. *slowly begins to release his hands from underneath her*
Nicole: John…
John: You’re ok, Nicole. *walks away from her a little bit* See? You’re floatin.
Nicole: I guess I am…*pause* OH! I’m startin to sink!
*John swam to her before she sank completely*
John: See, that wasn’t so bad, was it?
Nicole: I don’t like the way salt water taste…too salty.
John: Calm down…
Nicole: Ima get out. I gotta tan evenly. *Begins to swim to shore*
John: Ok, I’ll be out here…
*She gets to her towel and lays down. And about 5 minutes later, her cell phone rings. Looks at the caller ID*
Nicole *thinking* Who in the hell is this? *outloud* Hello?
MV: Nicole?
Nicole: Who’s this?
MV: It’s Eric…Eric Braxton…
Nicole: I don’t know an Eric Braxton…*pause* Wait? My ex-boyfriend, Eric?
Eric: That’s me…
Nicole: What’s up? I haven’t heard your voice in a good minute. What’s goin on with you?
Eric: I’m chillen. How about you? You sound like you’re at the beach or something…
Nicole: Yeah, I’m here.
John *out of breath* Who you talking to?
Nicole: My ex-boyfriend, Eric…
John *thinking* Damn, she’s pimpin already? *outloud* Man, aren’t you the popular one?
Nicole: Not really. Anyway, yes, Eric, I’m at the beach…what are you doing?
Eric: I’m drivin on I-95. I was thinking about comin to see you…if that was ok…
Nicole: I guess… I mean, I don’t see anything wrong with that. I mean, you know which beach I’m at?
Eric: That would be helpful to know…
Nicole: The beach I took you to on our 3 month anniversary. It’s up here by that huge house…
Eric: Ok. I think I know what you’re talking about. I’ll be there in about 30 minutes.
Nicole: Damn, already?
Eric: Yeah, I was just about to go back to my house. I was here visitin my cousin. He threw a dope party last nite. I spent the nite at his house. I was gonna go to your place but I didn’t know if that was a good idea without callin.
Nicole: Well, you’re right. It wouldn’t have been a good idea but I don’t live at that house anymore. My parents still live there. I have my own place with a roommate of mine.
Eric: Oh, yeah? You moved out?
Nicole: Yeah. I got my job and everything.
Eric: Where are you working now?
Nicole: I’m a teacher at my old high school. I help with Yearbook and I dance over there too. Right now, they’re on Spring Break so I don’t have to work.
Eric: Oh, that’s cool. So what kind of car are you drivin, now?
Nicole: A 2003 Escalade…
Eric: How did you afford that?
Nicole: I got hook ups. My mom got it for me since I got my job and it was my graduation present.
Eric: From high school?
Nicole: Yeah, I took it to prom with me…oh, that’s right, you wouldn’t know that because you dumped me. I would’ve taken you to my prom but you decided I wasn’t good enough to be seen with you…
Eric: Ouch, Nicole. You still remember that?
Nicole: How could I forget? That was supposed to be the biggest nite of my life. But that’s ok. I didn’t win prom queen or anything but I still had fun…
Eric: Man, you look good…
Nicole: What are you talking about?
Eric: Turn around…
*She turns around to see Eric standing right behind her, with no shirt on. He had on a pair of black Nautica swim shorts*
Nicole *a bit uneasy*: Hi…*gets up and hugs him*
Eric: I missed you…
Nicole: OMG! What the hell is up with everyone missin me all of the sudden? I’m leavin!
John: No, don’t leave… *thinkin* Nice goin dumbass. You really know how to cockblock a nigga's flow.
*Nicole starts packing her stuff*
Nicole: I can’t handle this shit anymore! I’m tired of this!
*She walks to the parking lot and gets in her truck.*
[At the apartment]
Nicole *on the phone with Venessa*: Girl, do you know how many times I wanted to knock both of them out?
Venessa: I know, boo. You’ll be ok. Do you want us to come up there and get you?
Nicole: No. I told you that you’re on vacation. It's your anniversary. That’s for the 2 of you, not me.
Venessa: We’ll come up there and get you if we have to…ooh, Mike wants to talk to you…
Mike: Hey, my love…
Nicole: Hey, sweet heart. You 2 havin fun?
Mike: Yeah, it’s real nice out here. We’re at the beach.
Nicole: I just came from there…3 of my ex-boyfriends have shown up within the past 5 hours…
Mike: Damn! No good, mama.
Nicole: I know. So you can see I’m stressed.
Mike: Do we need to…
Nicole: No, I already told Venessa that’s not needed.
Mike: Ok. I’ll leave it alone. You going to be ok?
Nicole: Yes, I’ll be fine.
*KNOCK KOCK*
Mike: You got company?
Nicole: I guess so…I’ll talk to you later.
Mike: Ok. Have fun. Remember, we’re a phone call away.
*Nicole opens the door*
MV: Hi there…
Nicole: Kareem!!!
Kareem: How are you boo?
Nicole: I just came from the beach, so I don’t know if you wanna hug me.
Kareem: That’s ok. *hugs her and kissed her cheek* So how are you, love?
Nicole: I think I’m ok. I’ve seen 3 of my ex-boyfriends within the past 5 hours…
Kareem: Damn, no good. I haven’t heard from you in a minute. So, I thought I should come over here and see you. What are you doing?
Nicole: Nothing. You?
Kareem: Nothing, boo. You wanna chill here? I mean, is that ok?
Nicole: Yeah, that’s fine. Let’s order a pizza or something. *pause* Where’s your girlfriend?
Kareem: She’s on vacation with family. So you have me all Spring Break!
Nicole: Oooh! And what’s the catch?
Kareem: Help me bring my stuff up from my car. I didn’t want to stay home by myself this Spring Break. It’s a good thing you’re home this year. I didnÂ’t think you’d be home.
Nicole: Yeah, I’m here…so what are you gonna do? Hang out here with me?
Kareem: If that’s ok?
Nicole *thinking* Damn, how did this happen to me? I’m feelin this! God, how long have I waited to get him with me?! This Spring Break just might be off tha chain after all… *outloud* Sure, honey. Let’s get your things…
