Giles is funnier though 
To be fair, I haven't seen Hugh Grant in that much - Notting Hill, Love Actually and Four Weddings (although that was ages ago so it doesn't really count). I don't know why him being all English annoys me a bit when Giles doesn't. Maybe Giles is less English, or maybe it's because you expect that when it's written by Americans but not in British films. Or maybe it's just because Giles is Giles and he's great
