Looking for information on J.D. Meek and wife Sarah in China Springs Tx. in 1880. J D ran a freight hauling business and farmed there. He used a mule and team for his freight hauling business, and his brother in law was George Johnson who owned or ran a blacksmith shop there as well at the same time period. J.D. had a son named Johnathan Ady Meek who was born in 1860 in Ill. Later I believe he is listed as Thomas D. Meek and is living with his son-in law in 1900 in Bosqur Co. He died in 1906 and is burried in Prerrie Grove Cemetary in Hill co. just outside of Aquilla. P S There is a artical in Bosque Co. newspaper sometimes during 1880 and 1900 about a seperation of Thomas and Sarah.
