Family says they lived on a farm - not sure if they owned it or just worked on it. I believe that Mary went to Waco, for some reason, maybe with John to get married, and stayed there until John died and returned to N.O. with the boys. I have N.O. voter registration cards showing son Joseph lived in N.O. since 1888, so he must have moved to N.O. from Waco when he was just 2 years old. I appreciate your efforts in finding any info on the above.

I am looking for John Wagner's proof of death or where he is buried in Waco. He was born somewhere in Germany. He was married to Mary Scholly or Schooly(no date or place available). They had 2 sons, John Michael born on Nov. 1, 1879 and Joseph Anthony born June 19,1886, both in Waco and died in N.O. His wife was born in New Orleans in 1850 and died in N.O. in 1927.
