William Killian came to McLennan County in 1894 with his family. Willian died in 1919 and is buried in the Gholson cemetery. William's wife was Lydia Margaret Meek. Lydia married William in 1868 in Navarro County. She died in 1936 and is buried in the Gholson cemetery. William and Lydia's son, Langston, died in 1906 and is buried in the Gholson. Lydia's brother, Noah Meek,and his son Aaron are also a part of McLennan County history. There is a lot of history that I have here. Gholson put out a handbook in 1993. Are they planning an updated version? I Could supply a lot of information about these families.
