I am looking for information on the Gilbert Jackson family who was apparently in McLennan Co. during the 1850 census. Gilbert was married to Mary Mitchell and among their children was Redick Jackson (my great-great-grandfather). I also understand that the Gurley family lived nearby, and in a connection that we have been unable to make, a daughter of Redick Jackson was named "Jennie Gurley Jackson." Thank you in advance for your assistance. Any information at all would be helpful.
