Yes, I am not surprised that most of the relatives listed as "living" on the LDS website are deceased by now. I think the people who submit the information on their website don't go back and update it often.
I am so glad that I could offer you some information. Is there anything particular you are interested in knowing? A certain person's history you are most interested in? I could try to do a census search. Let me know and I will try to help you. I'm no expert by any means; I'm learning as I go. But maybe I could find out some more.
