Here's some information I found on the LDS website (www.familysearch.com).
Glenn Howard MCCARTNEY was born 17 JUL 1915 and died 29 JUL 1992. At some time he was located in Camp Clark (Vernon Co) Missouri and Nevada (Vernon Co) Missouri.
His father John Albert MCCARTNEY was born 29 MAR 1869 in Delmathua (Guthrie Co) Iowa. He died 15 JAN 1933 and was buried on 16 JAN 1933 in Dakota City (Dakota) NE.
John Albert MCCARTNEY married Martha Anna SANDERS 13 JAN 1895 in Galaton (Davies) Missouri. Martha was born 19 APR 1879 in Hardin County, Iowa. She died 2 FEB 1975 in Houston (Texas) Missouri.
John Albert and Martha Anna MCCARTNEY had 11 (eleven) children. I've included all the information I could gather from the LDS website:
1) Mabel Elizabeth (b. 13 JUL 1899 in Braddyville (Page) Iowa - d. 4 AUG 1979). Mabel married James RYAN (b. abt 1895 Braddyville (Page) Iowa). They were married 6 NOV 1917.
2) George Edward (b. 5 AUG 1897 Braddyville (Page) Iowa - d. 14 FEB 1944). He married Joyce HARMON (b. abt 1901 Braddyville (Page) Iowa).
3) Dolly Alberta (b. 5 SEP 1901 Ithaca (Saunders) NE - d. ?). She married Charley DUNCAN (b. abt 1897 Ithaca (Saunders) NE). They married 23 JUN 1916.
4) John Albert (b. 26 SEP 1912 Ashland (Saunders) NE - d. 4 APR 1980). He has no wife or children that are listed.
5) Pearl Irene (b. 21 NOV 1910 Ashland (Saunders) NE - d. 14 APR 1981). She has no husband or children that are listed.
6) Edith May (b. 26 DEC 1895 Mound City (Holt) MO - d. 18 JUL 1974 Bakersfield (Kern) CA). She is buried Bakersfield (Kern) CA. She married William Grover MARTIN (b. 10 FEB 1889 - d. 7 NOV 1937 Lincoln (Lancaster) NE). He was buried 9 NOV 1937 in Lincoln (Lancaster) NE. They had 9 children, but no names are listed as they are still living.
John Albert and Martha Anna are listed as having 5 other children besides those I have listed above, but the LDS website will not provide information on any relatives still living. They say these 5 children are still alive.
I hope this provides some help, and maybe a starting point if you want to do further genealogical research. I'll try to do some more searching tomorrow. Best of luck!!
