I am looking for ANYONE who might have any information on a "Francis McCartney" who came to Canada with his wife "Bridget" around 1848-1850. The 1851 Canadian Census lists his place of birth as Tyrone Co.
Finding any information within Ireland (ie writing to various churches etc) has been unsuccessful.
Any information on Francis or the McCartney's as a whole would be appreciated.
