Hello all. I learned recently that my father William John McCartney, born in Glasgow on the 8th of September 1946, was named, by his father Jack and mother Mary Jane (nee Walker), after his grand father William John McCartney who was from county Antrim Ierland. If you have any other information on my great grand father and his family I would be very greatful. He would have been born around 1880. (a guess) Thanks
