Winamp's equalizers and such work, but ONLY when you have it set to process the audio. Disabling the process audio through winamp option disables the equalizer (along with a few other things). The equalizer involves processing the audio, if winamp isn't processing the audio then it can't use it's equalizer on it.
: Tara,
:
: Have been using your plugin for years on some older PCs I
: have - to stream .ram and other real media on PCs that
: can't handle running the software/cpu-"heavy"
: Real Player - thanks for the nice,
: "light-weight", and very stable software!
:
: Now my problem (challenge): I'd like to start using my
: Winamp equalizer with your plugin, to ramp up the volume,
: and haven't been able to enable this feature, in your
: plugin, on a couple of PCs I have:
:
: As a work-around, I disable "process audio through
: Winamp" in your plugin, and that's worked for me every
: time. However, the volume is too light for some streams,
: and so I'd like to increase it via the Winamp equalizer.
:
: My software config: Winamp 5.094, Real-Alternative 6.4.9.0,
: Windows 98SE.
:
: Thanks for suggestions, and feedback if this is something
: you might improve in future versions of your plugin.
:
: Appreciatively,
