First of all I really appreciate you looking into this. I really miss my Spinamp when it's not there.
1.) Yes, I did delete the Spinamp registry key.
2.) I have Spinamp 3.02
: Two questions:
: 1. Did you delete the SpinAmp registry key? And please
: stop applying any reg files... it is not necessary now.
:
: 2. Do you have the latest beta, which is now 3?

: I thought I would start a new thread with the problems
: I've had since being able to download the new Spinamp.
: Below are the problems I posted below that are still there.
: I guess one big question is whether there is something old
: hanging out there from preventing the new Spinamp from
: updating the channels correctly?
:
: When try to start the station a couple of times an Open
: File(s) window pops up looking in the Winamp directory. I
: used to see this even using Drahken's regedit program, I
: would have to re-run the Regedit program again to get by
: this. Perhaps this means something to you.

: I had this same problem a couple of
: months back which is why I have been using Dhraken's
: regedit program to update my channels(I just deleted it
: though). I run the version check then I update the channels
: which tells me 0 channels/genres added and removed. This
: leaves me with Christian Talk, NPR, Sporting News, WDST,
: WFMU, and WQXR. There must be some significance to these
: being all the radio stations. I'm wondering if I don't have
: some old file out there somewhere which is preventing the
: new Spinamp file from updating the channels with the
: current ones. I deleted the old registry entries and
: anything with "spinamp" in the file name before
: downloading the new Spinamp 3.02 file but I must be missing
: something.
: Any ideas?
