I loved when Laura blew the kiss saying "my love". Genie is really looking good these days. I love her hair too and the color which was the color of her hair back in the lnL days. I could have done without the Jennifer Smith character that looked sort of ragged. I liked that Scotty played a part in this too, especially when Luke's ashes blew on him.
I'm years behind on GH, but I decided to skip ahead to watch reactions to the news and today's memorial.
The writing is thin, but both Genie and Jane are as extraordinary as ever. Genie's doing a great job at playing a woman who lost a great love, a long time ago. She's obviously devastated, but seems conflicted about whether she really has the right to be as crushed as she is. The love is all still there, and she's well aware of what Luke meant to her. Her convo with Sonny several episodes back was really insightful regarding her state of mind. It's so sad that she has no kids here to be able to mourn with.
I'm so glad they had Laura mention the would be 40th anniversary.
I had no idea Victor was alive. And he wanted to murder Laura? I'm intrigued.
Luke would've loved watching Scotty, Sonny and Victor all brawling in his name. That's definitely the kind of chaos he lived for.
Tracy's speech was fitting. Yes we would all love Laura to give the eulogy, but that shipped sailed a long time ago.
I was most emotional watching Bobbie in all her scenes. Just the history between brother and sister, it's all there. Jackie is doing good work with this.
I did not expect to see Helena on that flash drive. She's just as condescending as ever. I loved Laura unplugging her!
I like the new Nik and Spencer.
Looks like Victor is responsible for "neutralizing" Luke, so I don't buy for a minute that this necessarily is a permanent death. I think they have an out just in case Tony definitely decides he doesn't want to ever come back.
Of course Jennifer Smith darkens the door again LOL.
On a superficial note, Genie's hair looks great. It reminds me of how she wore it back when she was a teen, even before L&L.
Laura blowing a kiss to "my love" at the end. Oof, right in the heart.
