even though he’s missing right now. LOL.
I love how they used Amy to reveal Laura's feelings before she recognized them. It was so subtle...both writing and acting. Only Luke knew the truth, but Amy was suspicious. Laura was the last one who knew she loved him! I haven't seen GH in a long time, but I would bet that the writing is not nearly as thoughtfully done. It was the slow build and the careful development of characters that drove the story. Boy! Do I miss it!!!!
I think the most amazing things are how she kept up
with him and how they portrayed L&L’s love so
realistically that their age difference never mattered.
I had forgotten all of those fantasy scenes they did of Luke yearning for Laura and imagining himself with her. It was so well done, and Genie is amazing to be so young and able to keep up with him so skillfully.
Wow- Look at how young Genie was. Little did we know what a heck of a ride we were getting ready to go on with Luke and Laura. I don't regret a minute of it.
I found this on Youtube. It's still as wonderful as when it originally aired in 1979. The video quality is not great, but it is still a treat. Enjoy!
