It sure would be great if he came back for one last hurrah without an agenda. I didn't agree with much of what he believed to be true about LnL in his last years. Besides, I want to believe in true love, and that was what was uplifting about that story. If Genie wants to stay, a HEA is not possible, but he could return to wrap up the LnL story by having Luke die in Laura's arms...proclaiming his love for her, straightening out the "Ethan" story, concluding that the marriage to Tracy was a fake because the marriage to her in the garden was the real deal. I wouldn't even care how many holes there were in the re-writes as long as it ended with him telling her she was the one and only love of his life...wishing her well with Kevin or whomever. I could see Tony coming back for the death of Luke. He said he always wanted to do it. In my mind, it would free up Laura to move on, and then I might want to see her story. As it stands now, Luke is out there somewhere, and she chooses to remain with Kevin...I don't buy it.

Of the new issue of Soap Opera Digest. It has a 20 page layout of Love In The Afternoon in the golden years. Pictures of lots of favorite couples during soaps heyday. Wouldn't it be great if Tony would return one last time without Tracy and Luke and Laura could have some tender moments
