This is all great to hear.
The last I checked Twitter, which was some time last week, the outrage seemed to be going strong.
If Genie gets another contract, it'll definitely be due in part to her loyal, active fanbase!

: who still watches that Laura's name was
: mentioned today....something about the
: mayor's race.
: The outrage has far from died down on
: Twitter!
: And, I've got about a dozen people or more
: who are sending weekly postcards, much like
: we did a decade ago.
: This thing is FAR from over, but just
: because there's not anything on a soap
: board, doesn't mean people aren't still out
: here fighting for her return.
: People were tweeting solidly for two hours
: yesterday, many continued tweeting today.
: Two more campaigns are in the works for
: March and April. Genie's Angel Friends/Fans
: know how to keep the pressure on...

: That week was when Jason and Sam were
: together in their son's bedroom and read him
: a story. Genie's character was NOT the focus
: of any real story. They took her out of the
: Mayor's race and nothing has been spoken
: about her since. The soap boards are no
: longer posting anything about her absence.
: So many of the current viewers are not
: familiar with Luke and Laura's story and
: could care less. TPTB knew it would die down
: after awhile and were prepared to endure a
: couple of weeks of outrage and then back to
: business as usual on the set. The GH
: convention is next month celebrating their
: 55 years on the air and they are hyping it
: for all it's worth. They weren't even aware
: of any boycott.

: Boycotts are pointless, unless you somehow
: target Nielsen households.
