Re: Can we stop with all this
I haven't seen her in months. What kind of weight gain are you talking about here? Honestly, I think there is too much pressure on women to conform to a youthful shape that just is not possible for middle age for a lot of people. Of course, in times of budget issues, you wouldn't want your talent to require a new wardrobe. However, some of the men have also had weight issues, and I don't hear complaints about them. It's a double standard for sure, and it is a turn-off for me. Besides, I think some of the wardrobe choices are totally ridiculous on GH. People walk around in sleeveless tight, short dresses in a town that is supposed to be in upstate NY in the winter. It is not authentic. Too much cleavage is showing. Just who is that for? When Gloria was dressing her cast, they wore sweaters and skirts and coats and boots in the winter. When spring came, everyone except the quartermaines dressed down with appropriate clothing for waterfront lives...sneakers, chinos, cotton shirts. GH needs an overhaul, J. They have some very good talent, but they can't seem to do it right. That coordination comes from the top. FV needs to go. The first thing a new EP should do is trim the cast, get rid of the ones who don't deliver, and bring back GF. --Previous Message-- : : For the reasons I listed in a post below, I : don't think this demotion is about Genie's : weight/looks. : : But everyone doesn't feel that way.
