admit I was skeptical watching some of it unfold.
But I thought they did a good job today bringing
it altogether.
I love the warmth that Laura always shows, but
I actually felt warmth from most of the characters
today! I love how Monica is unequivocally embracing
her new family. Steve Burton is real Jason, but Monica
says Drew will always be her son too. She is very
welcoming to Drew’s son, Oliver and although she was
wary of Oliver’s Mom, Kim (she’s a new OB-GYN at GH),
She likes her already.
I love Wally and thought it was a little out of character to
be distant to Oliver. I love that their common love for
music brought Ned around quickly.
There was a real love of family at all turns on GH today
and I loved seeing that from so many characters. I’m
glad Bobbie was there for Laura and said they’d always
be family. Loved Laura laughing about her and Bobbie
fighting over Scotty as young girls.
Sam actually looked happy at the beginning of the show.
She had the pained look on her face again when Jason
stopped by, but I liked seeing her and Drew show real
joy for a few minutes. I really didn’t buy that she wouldn’t
immediately want to reunite with Real Jason but I’m
starting to see her current view of the life she’s had with
Drew.
I also liked Days a lot today, so maybe that carried over
to GH. Plus, a lot of characters I’m not fond of weren’t
on GH today. I don’t Know, I just really enjoyed the
whole show today
I don’t like Franco, but I liked them showing him having
fun with the Star Wars game. Reminded me of you
saying he should get more comedic scenes, Ginger.
Surpringly, I accept Tamara as a new character. Maybe
because I saw her as another character on Days. Maybe
I’m just used to Laura Wright as Carly, but I don’t have
a problem with her. In fact, I’m liking her new character
so far.

: Denise appears tomorrow. Don't know if
: Laura's wedding will take place. They said
: Lucky and Spencer won't make the wedding
: because of bad weather but we really didn't
: expect JJ to show up anyway but at least he
: was mentioned. With the return of Steve
: Burton as Jason, the real Jason, the ratings
: have gotten a huge boost. This past ratings
: showed that GH is up to almost 3 million
: viewers now. I wish they would have showed
: Genie/Laura reading that letter Luke left
: for her as she was awaiting getting married.
: Possibly Luke could be wishing her every
: happiness for her future or something
: positive that he would always love her BUT
: instead we hear that Luke and Tracy are
: together in Amsterdam but it is what it is.
: I'm just thankful we have Genie on our
: screens again with some great screentime.

: HERE's what happens when you DON'T watch GH
: for 6 months. Total confusion. I turned it
: on today, and I don't know what is going on.
: Tamara Braun is back as another character.
: Who is she? Who is Oscar? Steve Burton is
: back, but is he or Billy Miller playing
: Jason?
:
: I don't mean to be harsh, but recasting
: actors in new roles is really not the
: greatest idea for a soap. I don't think it
: works very well. I've never gotten over the
: recast of Franco. I wasn't a fan of James
: Franco then or now, and I really didn't like
: stuffing Roger Howarth into the role. If
: they are going to recast, they need to go
: outside the box and get an actor that is new
: to the show. Otherwise, they are playing
: against what the audience knows and expects
: from that person.
:
: On the other hand, I loved seeing Wally
: Kurth. He is still charming, handsome and
: engaging. It's always great to see Lesley
: Charleson, and tomorrow...DENISE
: ALEXANDER!!! It seems to me that an actor
: cast into a successful role is a darned
: miracle, and it should be treated as such.
:
: Genie is gorgeous. She is still as radiant
: as ever and a joy to watch. How I wish that
: that Christmas miracle to come was a visit
: from Luke or at least a letter.
