Yeah it's me, one and the same.
I'm banned from SOC for a bit, long story.
It had nothing to do with LnL vs. Lunacy though LOL.
I'm not entirely sure Tony is responsbile for keeping Genie off the show, I think he is just all about self preservation at this time.
I don't pretend to know what's in the man's mind but I do get the impression that he may not be as eager to ressurrect LnL as we are.
That is of course his right, but it's frustrating and dissapointing.
His comments about fans "frozen in the past" and "being challenged" by the Ethan storyline were and still are hard to take.
Tony is a talented man and well respected actor, I'll always be grateful for the years of entertainment he gave us. BUT I'm not so sure he's totally powerless in all of this.
That's the sneaking suspicion that I just can't shake.
I think TIIC brought JJ back in part to bolster Tony's muddied reputation with the fans and try to incorporate Ethan into the Spencer family so the fans would accept him.
I could be totally wrong. Only time will tell.
At this point I would love Laura to come back and thrive independently of Luke.
Right now I'll just concentrate on getting Genie back where she belongs.
