As someone joked once, he has HIS supercouple--"Sonny and Jason"!
I found BF so repulsive (and I am no LW fan either) that I bet I didn't go more than 2 minutes into the interview. But in that timeframe, he said at least two more classless things, one of them being in connection with how GH stories are formed. Part of his answer was that every few weeks, he, his underlings, the EP, and either HW or writers meet and plan SL directions. Laura Wright popped in with, "No actors are allowed." And he said, "Unless it's to serve drinks." No question he sees himself as lord and master. It makes me shudder to think of class acts (like Genie and Tony) having to go up against him.
Also, does anyone remember hearing what his reaction was to LW saying she would have loved to play Laura??? He said something like, "That would have been cool." UGH. Maybe it was an off the cuff thing by which he meant nothing, but sorry, he does NOT get a free pass from me. That role could only EVER have been played by Genie Francis. If he thinks just any other actress could have stepped in, and there would have been the LnL magic, he is more delusional that we even imagine. I might also add that he owes the fact that GH is even still alive and making money that goes into HIS pocket TO Genie Francis. Thus ends my rant (maybe) for tonight (maybe) about BF.
