Unless Tony chopped some onions before the scene, his eyes were very runny and bloodshot. I think he has some sort of upper respiratory infection (sounds very congested) with perhaps even a temperature. Could the drunken Dad stuff have been added as a cover for an actor who is not feeling well? Get that man some chicken soup, for heaven's sake!!!!! I realize that it is the home of haute cuisine, but don't they have chicken soup out there in L.A.?
