I could also really understand Luke's drinking today. I usually see the drink in his hand as a way to escape from Tracy or because he has nothing else to do, which just adds nothing to the story for me. Today, you KNEW why he hit the bottle.
Even though the insults JJ's Lucky threw at Luke were hard to hear, after Luke said the line, "I guess you did tell me . . ." you could catch a quick glimpse of pride in his eyes, as if he was happy he had a son that could give it to him straight--even if it hurt. TG and JJ are quite the pair!!! It's good to see Tony look "alive" again; and just good to see JJ; BEST seeing that their chemistry hasn't skipped a beat!!!
