Your last paragraph... don't you think that is what this is all about? Lucky asked Luke if he had talked to mom... because that would have been a reason for him to find the bottom of the bottle... They had Luke all vulnerable about laura.. you could see the emotion bubbling so close to the surface during the whole Laura conversation.. Lucky went off about wanting A FAMILY, A FAMILY.... Then there was Luke saying "so Elizabeth had a baby with another man, and you are okay with it? You've forgiven her.. " (it was like him questioning himself because of the HELL he put Laura through with regard to Nikolas.. and kind of in awe that his son could be that forgiving...but then the paradox of all of that, we are actually talking about the present.. and with a Cassedine)... my problem with all of this is.. that if we get Genie back we are back to her being put between her two sons again. Stressful!
