Luke had so much guilt over laura ending up in the psych ward.. He really blamed himself, he thought he could help her, that they only needed each other, but he saw that as a lie an untruth and that he should have gotten help... he has always had REAL guilt over that... to the point that he probably does not think he is good for her.. that he feels like he deserves Tracy, .. Luke had said before; over and over that he is not worthy of Laura, that he is amazing that she could love someone like him... When they were getting back together in 01, she was not jumping in his arms, so he got discouraged.. Geez, now how must he feel. SHE decided to leave, regardless of how the lunancy fans want to spin it. Perhaps he doesn't really think she wants him... and as far as Tracy goes.. until he gets HIS money, he can't go anywhere.. he's a kept man! SO SAD!! What is he supposed to do go live with Laura off of CAssedine money?!?! Then there's Laura.. Luke really thought she killed her father.. would she be upset that he didn't know her better? She went to see Tracy and Tracy pretty much told Laura that she and Luke are together for the right reasons. Laura respects marraige.. what is she supposed to do, fight for him and then end up catatonic again?!?! She NEEDED to be completely well before anything else could play out... (and the PTB needed to get rid of the dead wood so they could pay genie what she deserves!) Part of me can accept all of it.. if it ends up playing out that way (With Helena responsible for Laura's catatonia, which they kind of led you to believe could be possible at the 06 "wedding"..that they could have done it together without the "curse")
... I mean TG today did an FAMAZING job of showing the feelings Luke has for Luara bubbling so, so close to the surface... and all that stuff with Lucky screaming at him about wanting a FAMILY, a FAMILY... something's up. The problem is it COULD be SOOOOOOOO good... but then again, they could screw it all up so easily .. it is almost impossible to take this.. JJ and TG were So fantastic today and yesterday.. and it just leaves you wanting more.. wanting it all... wanting Genie!!!
I can't believe I am so anxious about the whole thing!!!!
