WOW - L&L???
I'm watching live (practically ran home to do so, which I haven't done in a long time).
ANOTHER long conversation about Laura. Lucky asks Luke if he heard from Laura, Luke, who is hung over from drinking because of what he saw between Nik/Liz, instantly perks up. He's worried, wonders if she called him, and why. Lucky clarifies that he called her, and that she's fine, and he called to talk about he and Liz. Luke wants to know what they talked about, and Lucky lets him know that's between he and his mom.
Now get this...Luke was extremely inquisitive about Laura and appeared DISAPPOINTED that he wasn't in on what's going down with Laura. It was clear as day, Geary played the lines like he was desperate for news about Laura, and sad that he's been left out the loop. He was fishing for any news about Laura.
I don't think I've seen Geary play this kind of "slow burn" regarding Laura since 2001. It really was like the old days, when L&L were on the outs, and Luke is pretending to play it cool, but is really burning for just a slice of Laura.
Wow.
