After all, if MacGillvary is the one dealing with Sir Walter, then it seems only fair that Elizabeth can deal with Ronan! And if Ronan were to marry Caroline, perhaps they could take a looooong European tour as a honeymoon...and get stranded in France when the war starts up again... endless possibilities! ;-)
I nearly fell out of my chair giggling over Sir Walter and his new servants. I hope they're getting hazard pay for the extra service!
Has anyone had a letter from Lady Russell? Are she and Longwell still at that village inn, or did they make it back to Kellynch?
