Sir Walter is delightfully oblivious, just as he was in Volume 1. The longer his comeuppance is delayed, the more I am convinced it will be howlingly awful and glorious and just what he deserves, and I can't wait to see it.
And Elizabeth and Patrick, together at last! I love how she came down the stairs swinging her bonnet and just tied it on her head without looking in the mirror. Talk about a changed Elizabeth!
Monday postings are going to make that my favorite day of the week all summer. Welcome back, LL!
