Those pesky ads! How I wish they were gone!
Alas, I'm in a continual state of retrenchment around here. Basically I must run this site on "zero-outlay" budget. So I am very grateful for Boardhost's message board. It's free, and it has the "old-fashioned" friendly-style threading, not the angular kind like the new boards. Tell you what, though, when Patrick begins hauling in prize (book royalties), I'm switching to an ad-free (costs-money) message board! Er, that won't be for a while ...
However, in August I'll be "shifting ship." That's when I plan to launch the dotcom address for Mercy's Embrace. It's time. The Geocities site shut down seven times on Wednesday because of too much traffic. 
Come August ME should have a new home at ... mercysembrace.com!
Don't go looking for it now, though; nothing is set up. Gad, the amount of work to move all those pages and fix all those links makes my head spin ...
Still, it'll be neat to have my very own dotcom address. And e-mail. *buffs nails* "My email address? It's Laura@mercysembrace.com." NICE.
