My dear Barbara, I've noticed over the years, as have others, that some of the very best writers receive only a few comments. Go figure. You write astonishingly well. Professional grade or better! By comparison, what can a reader say?
Also, consider this: The Austen boards center around Pride and Prejudice fiction. Period, paragraph. If we want many comments, we've got to stop writing the "wrong" heroes! 
OH well. Too late to turn back now!
