The last week of school included these events for the students: etiquette lessons, a formal tea, three drama club performances (put on by them), the gala costumed dinner, and report cards. Yeow! But now I have recovered and am in my right mind (sort of). I am free to THINK and free to WRITE! So sit back and enjoy the ride! I plan to post an installment each Monday night through the summer. The goal is to FINISH this year, but who knows? Oh, and I've cracked open the back door for you.

Thank you so much for your patience with me this year. Time and again I've struggled to write, as SusanK will testify, but this story and my job are all-consuming. I simply cannot do both well.
