Looking forward to end of school year and more of Mercy's Embrace. Lady Russell has obviously made arrangements for Sir Walter's journey to Venice with his new friends, including Lady Jevington, but without her. She will return to Bath and faithful Longwell. Everyone can guess why Anne seems tired. Am certain I am not the only reader who has had a delightful time imagining what happens when Elizabeth finally arrives at the ball (it has been a long, long ride!) and recognizes "footman" Patrick McGillvary as he attempts to help her out of carriage. Only problem is Charles and Winnie Owen and how to solve that one without Mary's demise. And then one day (it has been a long nine months to ponder that dilemna) my subconscious came up with a solution. Is it how Laura Louise will work it out? I doubt it. Eager to read her answer to problem.
