I will confess though, my sympathies are not altogether altruistic. If she is tied up on a case, or several, the entire time, we will have no opportunity to go to the mall, have lunch and watch as people dash madly about as we have done in the past. The likelihood that Washington County will ruin the Christmas holiday of TWO writers is high.
