LL is jumping hoops as this is one of busiest times of the year at her school--concerts, plays, dinners, parties, etc. On top of that, she has been called to jury duty. Grand jury duty. (Insert sympathy groan here) In our county the only excuse is nonresident status or communicable disease. Not only has she been summoned, she's to start the 15th of December. That is the day her Christmas break begins. She may spend the entire break in a county office building listing to the misdeeds of those slow enough to be caught. I didn't have the heart to harass her last we met, but she is trying to crawl out of a BIG block that came over her at the beginning of school.
