Posted by Susan Kaye My novel, "None But You ... " is in the editing process and I am also looking for cover art. The first question is, do I go with a very compelling picture that does not necessarily fit the story precisely, or do I look for pictures that fit the story but are not necessarily exciting? I of course want both. We, (LL being a major paticipant in the great Cover Art Hunt), have found a couple of portraits, which are period and compelling, but the chances of getting permission to use them is somewhere between slim, and none. (It never hurts to look and try to springboard.) I also have a few nautical pic which are in museums and may be useable. Anywise, if you have an opinion on the question above, or know of sources of period art--nautical, pastoral, portraits, etc--which would be comfortably Persuasion related, please post or send to my e-mail. Your help would be much appreciated. And I promise to nag the authoress concerning the next installment, with all my powers of persuasion on your behalf. Take care--Susan Kaye

I've asked permission of the benificent Laura Louise if I might apply to her readers for some assistance.
