It sounds like Benwick has seen the Admiral in action, and thus has a reason to be concerned. (And it's good of him to feel so despite Elizabeth's scorn of him in the past!) He has not, however, seen McGillvary with Elizabeth. So Patrick has some convincing to do--which should be good for him. I have faith in our dear boy
