Hi Tony, Its certainly been a long time, I still occasionally see you in a photograph in one of my albums. It was taken when we were building the R65's. I still get news of Bob Waddel and Peter Burt. They live in Panama City, Florida, I get news of them from Bernie Osbourne, (these guys were in the main workshop, Bernie is the Training Manager for Komatsu Equipment in Alabama. I've been Representing Haulpak trucks in Australia (through their various owners, up to Komatsu).
I retired in 1999 but occasionally still do some consultancy work for either Komatsu or their Customers. I ran into David ? the guy that was in the Caterpillar Warehouse when we were in Liberia a few years back in Singapore.
Diana my wife died a few years back. I still see quite a lot of my three kids, they are scattered across Australia.
