Posted by Peter McKenna I do remember the plane which flew into the camps with the mail and carrying passengers now and then. It was a single engine Cessna with the call letters on the side "EL-ADY". We called the pilot Ell Addy, I don't know if that was his real name. I flew several times with him including trips into Buchanen, where I stayed a couple of times. I stayed in all four camps along the route to the Nimbus mountains.

My Dad was a Metal Lather Superintendent, installing the wire and metal lathe (reinforcing steel and wire) for the concrete structures and culvert systems. Both my father William McKenna and my Uncle, Roger McKenna, worked for Raymond Intl. (I don't remember what my uncle did).
