I never did say goodbye to Liberia.
Mom and dad played alot of Tom Jones music and there is one song that is named:
"I couldnīt say goodbye."
A song full of pain but also a promise of new beginnings.
Every word is so true ,I just have to make the words become true.
Itīs time to say goodbye,I just donīt know how,the pain is still so great,
just like the day we had to leave, my heart broke.
I still canīt stand the pain but itīs time, I think I have to some way some how.
I have family and kids and from them I got a little strenght,
I have to try and make the two of them one now.
As my tears fall from my eyes and my heart is aching I have to try and treasure
the good and bad times we all had, and let them shine over me and with me,
and stand in the sunlight again with all the wonderful memories.
Sharing such a fantastic life with my family instead, and not being selfish.
No more keeping my dream..
There will not be a going back,I know that now.
So this I write now my note,to you Liberia.
