This thread will contain information about springtails (collembola), their habits, biology and more. First thing to note is that they cannot tolerate zinc. Maybe JohnF had something with that Z-BEC nutritional supplement, after all. Second thing to note is that calcium hydroxide kills their eggs. PLEASE do not apply calcium hydroxide to your skin.
