Posted by Librarian on 8/2/2002, 9:22 pm Having "disclaimed" all this, the following site is a new site of a sufferer who has described several treatments he is currently and has (in the past) used to treat this illness. NONE OF THESE TREATMENTS SHOULD BE USED WITHOUT THE ADVICE OF A PHYSICIAN. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, SO DON'T GO VISIT THE SITE AND THINK THIS LIBRARY ENDORSES ANY TREATMENT THAT THE SITE DISCUSSES. At the same time, R.W.'s Experience cannot be discounted and discarded as it is a very relevant account of this disease. There are many noteworthy and beneficial *pieces* of information that can be gained by visiting this site. The photographs are amazing. The experience described is amazing. BUT PLEASE DON'T USE SOLVENTS ON YOUR SKIN WITHOUT MEDICAL ADVICE. If any negative feedback is received, this link will be moved to the very bottom of this board, if not deleted altogether. Apologies to all harmed are sent in advance. Thanks. The link follows.

Absolutely no solvents can be recommended for use on the skin. This is extremely important. No usage of lacquer thinner or paint thinner would be an appropriate treatment for this disease at this time.
