If you drink alcohol or caffeinated beverages, you should drink additional water. You can also add sea salt in the proportion indicated in the links below. It seems, based on this doctor's book, that most of the world's population is severely dehydrated. Dehydration can lead to digestive disorders, headaches, heart problems and all sorts of things. The book is called "Your Body's Many Cries for Water" and is extremely readable. See if you can find it at your local library.
