Golden Brew Reunion - Inactive Players Please Read!

In its five and a half year history, literally hundreds of players have walked through the door of the Golden Brew. Now it's time to come back one more time - OSI is offering, for a limited time, fifteen free days of UO to inactive accounts! Taking advantage of this, the Golden Brew will be holding a reunion for all the past and present members of the Golden Knights, Town of Golden and any frequenters of the Golden Brew. Details on getting your fifteen free days are at: Ultima Online 15-Days-Free Details You don't have to give them a credit card number - all you do is input your inactive account information and an email address- they'll send you a gametime code, then you go to UO.com and re-activate your account using the gametime code as the payment method. Very painless. If it's been months (or years even!) since you played and you've misplaced your UO cd, don't worry - you can download the entire latest version of UO from the site above (620 mgb). Start today and you might be ready by the Reunion! Reunion - the Reunion will be held at the Golden Brew, directions (in case it's really been a while) are at: Directions to the Golden Brew....Pssshah! The reunion will take place THIS Monday, January 19, starting at 7:30pm cst/5:30pm pst. Short tours of present-day Baja will be available if there is interest. Please come by, relive old times, meet old friends - and maybe we can even convince you to stay longer than the fifteen days. ---Miscellaneous-- If you haven't played in the last year, be careful of the monsters on the way to the Brew. Melee attacks hit much harder than you're used to, and magic using monsters you used to laugh at can be deadly if you're not careful. Err on the side of excessive force if you're in doubt. Right now the reapers seem to be the main Golden predators, so keep your distance. On a related note, things work slightly different these days. The skill Resisting Spells only resists spells like Poison, Curse, Mana Drain, etc. Resistance to direct damage spells is determined by the properties of whatever armor you're wearing. So GM Spell Resist has no effect on how hard a Corp Por will hit you for. If you're stuck in "Felucca" - find a moongate and ride it to Trammel - Yew. The Moonstones that spawned for a couple years do not spawn anymore, Moongates (or recalling off runes) are the way to get from Trammel to Felucca.
